Digital Wings 1 This compilation is comprised of bands who were part of The CyberDen computer network which first started in 1989 as a dialup bulletin board system and eventually became one of the largest internet based communities for the gothic, industrial and ambient scenes. During it's peak, several CyberDen bands were approached for contributing tracks to this one of a kind, limited CD of only 1000 copies. Styles of music range from the cyber-industrial of Xorcist's 'Bad Mojo' and Scar Tissue's 'Powerclone' to the infamous "Is this a new Skinny Puppy song?" Retina's 'Exorcised' all the way through to the deep ambient rhythms of Seofon's '5-space' and the tribal ethnic ambience of Xenon's 'Ygrene Citenik'. In between you'll find other styles and rareties including probably one of the last released tracks ever by the Bay Area's the bleeding stone before their disappearance into the etherscape. This compilation is a snapshot of the music of the times from 1994-1997 and would make the perfect addition to any CD collectors arsenal.
